Renewable Energy Solutions

Stove Shop Renewables will project manage your renewable energy installation from start to finish. We design, supply and install a range of solutions designed to bring renewable technologies to your home or business.

We only use MCS accredited equipment in our installations, to ensure you are able to claim all applicable payments for your system. We also only use our own, in-house, accredited installers and designers - we don't believe in causing unnecessary hiccups by outsourcing!

Some technologies can be simply installed and connected to your existing heating system. However some instances can require more work. Therefore if you are planning a new build or renovation project, it may pay to talk to us before you start. By getting our advice from the start, we can save you even more money in getting all the work carried out at the most appropriate time.

About using Biomass for heating

A biomass boiler is anything which burns biomass (wood or other vegetable matter) to heat water for your home.

Biomass is a renewable resource and if properly sourced, is considered carbon neutral. There are a number of boilers available and they can be installed in conjunction with other heating systems.

-Our MCS accredited PV-T panels

Photovolatic Thermal is the innovative combination of two technologies - a photovoltaic

.module with a solar thermal collector. Not only is this space saving - only one array of panels is needed to complete both electrical and water heating requirements - but the solar thermal element also improves the efficiency of the photovolatic module.

Solar Thermal Panels FAQ

Solar Heating Supply and Installation Information

Solar Thermal systems utilise energy, just like any system of heating water. Solar thermal heating solutions harness this energy from the sun.

Using solar thermal collectors to heat your hot water is an ideal compliment to a solid fuel boiler for a cost effective and carbon neutral solution. Although solar collectors will heat water all year round, it will need assistance during the winter months, Coupled with a thermostore, solar thermal collectors can also significantly reduce space heating costs.

Photovoltaic panels (PV) generate electrical power by converting solar radiation into into direct current (DC) electricity.

Coupled with an inverter, solar PV panels can significantly contribute to your household electricity - even when the sun isn't shining.

What's more, having a PV installation can now generate tax-free, index linked income for your home - by Feed in Tariffs paid by the government. The average PV installation could generate over £30,000 of income in its' lifetime - click here to read more.
